Hi there,
I'm Jerry Parton, I first became interested in photography in 1976, using a Kowa Six portrait type camera to take nature photos.
In 2005, my wife Eve and I retired from regular jobs and businesses. We started using a Canon 20D digital, a far more versatile camera than the film type. We love to travel to places like Hawaii to take pictures for the web site. Many of our photos however were taken in our beautiful home state of Colorado. After seeing these pictures you'll understand why they call it Colorful Colorado.
In November 2007 we entered some of our photos in the Rocky Mountain News photo contest, winning the Readers Choice Award in the Wildlife and Colorado scenery categories as well as the 2nd and 3rd place in both. Come back often, we'll be adding more pictures as we take them. We hope you enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed taking them and we look forward to assisting you with your photographic needs.
